Tinubu’s Leaves For France Monday

From PAULINE PODKA, Abuja

President Bola Tinubu will embark on a trip to France on Monday, August 19, departing from Abuja, the nation’s capital.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale on Sunday night.

Ngelale did not disclose the nature of Tinubu’s visit to France.

He said President Tinubu would return to the country after his brief work stay in France.

However, it remains to be seen whether Tinubu’s visit has anything to do with the recent seizure of three jets owned by the Nigerian government by a French court over a long-standing dispute with a Chinese company, Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment and the Ogun State Government.
