Israeli’s Military Kills 90 People In Al-Mawasi Designated Zone

At least 90 people have been killed and 300 wounded in an Israeli air attack on the al-Mawasi refugee camp.

The Israeli Army claimed the target of the attack was senior Hamas military commander Mohammed Deif.

The Health Ministry in Gaza said the al-Mawasi refugee camp is an Israeli-designated “safe zone”.

The Israeli air raids hit tents of displaced people near a water desalination unit in the al-Mawasi camp.

The Hamas military commander, Mohammed Deif, was not killed in the attack, as the Israeli army claimed.

On the attack, Netanyahu said it was “not absolutely certain” if Hamas military commander Mohammed Deif had been killed.

Netanyahu said that Israel will get to the whole of the leadership of Hamas.

The militant Islamist group Hamas said Israeli claims it had targeted leaders of the group were false and aimed at justifying the attack.

The attack has been condemned by various countries, with the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs calling it “a phase of the Netanyahu government’s effort to annihilate the Palestinians entirely”.

Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said on Thursday that Israel would send a delegation to Cairo to continue talks on a proposed deal with Hamas for a ceasefire and hostage release.

Additionally, during a military graduation ceremony, Netanyahu vowed to continue the war against Hamas until victory, despite being heckled by chants of “shame” from the crowd.
