Death Toll Rises To 22 in Jos Building Collapse

Twenty-two students have been reported dead and 132 injured in the collapsed building in Jos, Plateau State.
The two-story building collapsed at the Saints Academy School in the Jos, the state capital.
The school building collapsed while students were writing their third term examination on Friday morning.
The state government has ordered schools with structural concerns to close their facilities immediately
An investigation into the cause of the collapse is currently underway by the Plateau State Government.
Seventy-four students who were injured in the collapse have been treated and discharged from the hospital.
Meanwhile, the state Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has visited a hospital, where he consoled Amaka Dennis and her daughter, Chidera.
Her son, Emmanuel, is still missing 24 hours after the school building collapsed.
