Anambra Communities Laud Wike For Appointing First Igbo Man Director In FCT

The 31 communities in Orumba North and South Local Government Areas of Anambra State have commended the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, Nyesom Wike, for the appointment of their son Chijioke Nwankwoeze, as Director of Lands in the FCT.
The communities also congratulated their illustrious son for the appointment as first Igbo man to be a Director of Lands in FCT, saying that it is square peg in square hole and round peg in a round hole as he’s qualified for the position.
Spokesman of the communities, Obi Okoli, in a statement said that the appointment was a huge moment for Ndigbo in general and Ndi Orumba in particular.
He said that Nwankwoeze has proved to be a worthy ambassador of Orumba, as his appointment has brought not only reputable reckoning to Ndi Orumba, but has also recognized the salient and indefatigable qualities of Nwankwoeze.
“This appointment also marks the first time in the annals of the FCT, that a Nigerian of Igbo extraction will be appointed as Director of Lands.
“The 31 towns in Orumba are indeed grateful and indebted to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Bar. Nyesom Wike.
“The Minister’s sagacity, political dexterity and enormous sense of equity and justice, are further testimonies of his record breaking achievements.
“Former Governor Wike has become a global inspiration for all Nigerians and I note with solemn recollection, his unimpeachable profile as a detribalized Nigerian, well known for landmark achievements and the equitable discharge of his functions without fear or favour.
“Orumba have become blessed with this noble sense of equity and justice, as our dear brother and son, Chief Chijioke Nwankwoeze, becomes the FCT Director of Lands.
“We pray that God will bless him on this job and give him extraordinary wisdom to live up to the expectations of his new appointment.”
