PRESIDENT of Nigerian Senate, Godswill Akpabio, on Wednesday, met with Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, at his (minister’s) Asokoro, Abuja residence.
The purpose of the meeting is yet to be known.
This meeting comes on the heels of a recent visit to Wike by the Senator Adolphus Wabara-led Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday night.
It should be recalled that in August, the BoT had written to Wike, seeking a meeting to resolve the lingering crisis in the party, especially in Rivers State, days after meeting with the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
